EPL Motivational Profiles
 
The EPL research shows that there are 8 possible motivational profiles based on the E, P and L career dimensions. Your CAS survey results will show your motivational profile, which change as you may gather more work experiences. Motivational profiles are different from EPL efficacy profiles which are about one’s perceived abilities in E, P or L career spaces.

Using your EPL Motivational Profile as a Career Strategy

Below are some examples of how you can use your EPL motivational profile.
 



 
  • Check to see if your motivational profile is supported by the relevant EPL competencies and skills (see more on EPL efficacies). For example, if you have a High EL motivational profile, check that you have the related E and L skills. If you do not have enough of these skills, you can then focus on developing the skills needed for E and L tasks and to achieve your career goals.
